Maybe you’re a museum looking to create an artist book inspired by one of your archives. You might be a fashion house that wants to do a 100-year retrospective. Or perhaps you’re a musician who wants to transform the lyrics of their latest album into an interactive book. Or a writer / poet / researcher who wants to see their work transformed into a visual/multimedia experience. Or an actor / filmmaker who wants to create a “physical showreel”. Or perhaps a comedian who wants to write a slightly bent autobiography. Whoever you are, get in touch and let’s chat.
Nope! I will figure that out for you. In fact, I enjoy starting with a blank slate. I will get to know you, your life, your work, and figure out what’s most important to you. And then I’ll send you a proposal for what our project will look like.
It’s a mystery to me too.
Every storytelling object is unique. It might be a book, a miniature diorama, an exhibition, a book that turns into an exhibition… I don’t like creating the same thing twice. What I can tell you is that it will be specifically tailored to you, and I especially like making things that surprise and delight the people they’re made for.
That depends. It depends on you, your industry and your audience. If you’re a musician, we could film a music video around it. If you’re an iconic brand creating a 100-year retrospective, we could approach museums to acquire it for their collection. It could also become the centrepiece of your next exhibition. We could produce a collector’s edition for your most loyal patrons. If you’re someone with a large following, we can create a mass-market piece for your fans to purchase. If you’re a consumer brand or an NGO, we can use it to create a promotional ad-film. You don’t have to figure it out right now – when I create your proposal, I will lay out all the options for you.
Lucky for you, I’m a control freak who likes doing everyone’s job.
I’m a visual artist, miniaturist, researcher, writer & graphic designer. I’m also an aesthetic chameleon who can adapt to you, your brand and your style. So I’ll do all the heavy-lifting, and I’ll engage my network for things like photography or filming. All I ask of you is to meet with me a few times, provide any initial research material, and respond to the work I share with you.
